Popt is the command line parsing library used by GNOME programs. In
this directory there is a small postscript document from Michael
K. Johnson and Eric W. Troan's book Linux Application Development and
is used by permission.

The popt.html file is an html version of the popt man page with is
actively updated and may contain more current documentation.
