This distribution contains a subset of ISO 10646 (Unicode) character set implemented as fixed-width bitmapped fonts, supplied in Binary Distribution Format (BDF). The fonts are based on Naoto Takahashi's ETL font collection, with Armenian and Georgian glyphs added by Mark Leisher . The current subset of ISO 10646 is a superset of the proposed Minimum European Subset (MES; ENV 1973:1995, ) with the extension to Hebrew, Armenian and Georgian glyphs. It is assumed that a user knows how to install and use the fonts. If not, you can find a short step-by-step tutorial on WWW, , or elsewhere. 1999-02-05: A bug-fix release.
