Title: rlwrap.uci Description: readline wrapper Version: 0.30 Author: Hans Lub Original-site: http://utopia.knoware.nl/~hlub/uck/rlwrap Copying-policy: GPL ----------------------------------------------------- Extension by: mikshaw [moc@oohay.golbrm] Comments: rlwrap is a 'readline wrapper', a small utility that uses the GNU readline library to allow the editing of keyboard input for any command. rlwrap should be especially useful when you need word completion and persistent history. In DSL this program is helpful when using murgaLua or the tcl myDSL extension interactively (readline support is in development at this time for murgaLua). The command /opt/rlwrap/rlwrap is a script that sets the location of history files and user-added completion files. This script is not needed, but keeps your home directory from getting filled with history files if you happen to use rlwrap with several applications. If you don't mind having these files in the root of your home directory, you can use the command /opt/rlwrap/bin/rlwrap instead. I've added a completion file for murgaLua. See /opt/rlwrap/doc for more information. Change-log: Current: 2008/03/26 - First Version
