Comments:        Mesa is a 3D graphics library with an API which is very
                 similar to that of OpenGL. It can be used in DSL as an
                 alternative to installing XFree86 when all you want is
                 an OpenGL-compatible library.
                 This package was built originally as a way to run Wings3D
                 in DSL, but it will likely be useable for many other 3D
                 applications. It has been tested on a few other apps with
                 limited success. Those program that require hardware
                 acceleration for adequate performance will still need
                 super-special magical video drivers installed.
                 An application that wants a libGL.so dynamic library should
                 succeed if you set your LD_LIBRARY_PATH variable to include
                 the directory /opt/mesa3d
