Title: ddcprobe.tar.gz Description: Shows information about your video card and monitor Version: ? Author: Matt Wilson, Josh Vanderhoof Original site: ? Copying-policy: GPL -----==[ Color = yellow Filesize: 11k ]==----- Extension by: Curaga Comments: It's a little utility which probes your video card and monitor using DDC. The info it shows about your video card is the same as Xvesa -listmodes, but without the hex codes. It displays the resolution and refresh rates your video card can use, and then the ones your monitor can use. Also lists other info about your monitor, like when it was made. - Doesn't work with most laptop monitors, since they don't use DDC. On them it shows only the video card's info. XFree86 also probes your monitor, but if you don't have it, then this is handy.. - This goes in /opt/bin, so if you're using DSL 3.2 or lower, that's where you find it. (3.3 has /opt/bin in PATH) Change-log: Current: 2007/03/08 - First version
