2003-01-05 -+- tarzeau -+- gurkan@linuks.mine.nu -+- there's iBackup which makes the backup of configuration files without
having to worry wheter you have all files, http://www.linuks.mine.nu/ibackup/ -+- 217.162.4.59 = Links (2.1pre7; Linux 2.4.19-686 i686; x) 2003-01-15 -+- Stefan -+- smeister_1@web.de -+- It is also possible to copy ONE File from one Host to another by this way:

tar -cf - <localfile> | ssh -l <remoteHost> "( tar -xf - )"

On the local side the "tar -cf - <localfile>" Command creates a Stream which is piped into the ssh-Command. After the succesful login (by hand) on the remote side, ssh performs the Command "( tar -xf - )" immediatly which puts the Datastream back into a File. The Filename is the one from the local side (<localfile>). -+- 212.68.69.168 = Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:0.9.8) Gecko/20020204 2003-04-14 -+- Arno -+- -+- Hi, I've found a little mistake that prevents the main script ainstall.sh to work fine :

>> echo "If the name of commands.txt is commands_empty.txt then it is <<
