Begin3 Title: EarPlug Netscape Audio Plugin for Linux Version: 1.0 Entered-date: 040899 Description: EarPlug is an audio plug-in for Linux (tested on RedHat 5.1 and 6.0) which allows the simultaneous mixing of up to 30 sound files (each on a separate plug-in on a single or multiple web pages). It can play most files in the WAV, AU AIFF, SND and MIDI formats (though to play MIDI files it requires timidity to be installed). It has a console window whose size and color can be configured in the html tag and which has play/stop/pause and stereo volume controls. It is Live-Connected so can be controlled using Java-Script using methods similar to the Live-Audio plugin available with the Netscape Microsoft version.
