1.0 What does this package contain?

   This package contains the two needed libraries to fix the Netscape
bug and a script to call Netscape with the needed libraries.


2.0 How to install it?

   Installation is very simple. Log in to your machine as 'root' and
copy this package to the root directory (/). Then execute the
following command:

      tar -zxf nets-2.0.tar.gz

This command creates all necessary directories and puts all files
where they belong to.
   That's it! Now you and every user on your system can start Netscape
with the command 'nets'. This is a shell script in '/usr/local/bin'.
This script is made for starting Netscape Communicator 4.0bx. It
assumes that you've installed Netscape in the directory '/opt/netscape'.
If this is not the case, please alter the paths in the script 
appropriatley.

3.0 About naming the files.

   At least the names for directories and the shell script here are
only examples. If, for example, you don't wan't your users use a new
command for calling Netscape, you can name the shell script 'netscape'
and the executable something else (netscape-bin).
   The needed libraries should go to /usr/local/lib/netscape. If you
don't want them to be there, you can put them elsewhere. Don't forget
to change the shell script if you do so.
